Peter Ferreri

Peter is a 15 year multi sports play by play announcer. Peter has called: Football, M/W Basketball, M/W Volleyball, M/W Soccer, Baseball, Softball and M/W LAX. He has called these sports across a wide range of networks for the BIG EAST digital network on FLO Sports, for the Big Ten Network on B1G+, Marquee Sports Network, ESPN+ for the A-10, MVC, and Horizon League, as well as CCIW for Carthage College. He most recently called a Sweet-16 2022 WLAX matchup for ESPN. Peter is also a registered media member of the AVCA.

Peter was also the Executive Producer and technical director for the Windy City Bulls Television and radio broadcasts for 2 seasons. He also was the play by play announcer and producer for Illinois Tech and the University of Chicago NCAA Athletics. Peter was the volleyball commentator for DePaul University from 2011-2018. Peter was the executive producer and director for the Chicago Bandits in 2017.

Pete Ferreri was the regional station manager for theEDGEonair.com, SportsTownChicago.com, and ChicagolandSportsRadio.com from 2009-2018.  Peter worked for Radio Disney AM 1300 Chicago from 2009-2014 as an on air host, producer digital assets manager and in promotions. He worked for KFLN Radio Am 960 "Good Times, Real Country" as a mid-day host and interview producer. He also worked overnights for KJJM the ROCK. 100.5 FM, a classic rock station. Peter also taught at the Illinois Center for Broadcasting (now Illinois Media School).

Peter is an accomplished tenor singer having multiple different performance styles from pop to country and musical theatre to opera and singing the national anthem for numerous sporting events and occasions.

Peter is an alum of Creighton University in Omaha and St. Rita of Cascia HS in Chicago. He is a proud father of 1, his daughter Gioia. He is an avid MADDEN gamer on PS4, works for a telecom company in the day, and has an affinity towards 80's & 90's music and pop culture. Peter's wife Erica is an accomplished freelance wedding/event planner in the great Chicagoland area.
